Hiding the Snapshot copy directory
You can hide the Snapshot copy directory (.snapshot) so it is not visible when you view your volume directories. By default, the .snapshot directory is visible.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Click Storage > Volumes.
3.
From the Snapshot menu, click Configure.
4.
Ensure that the Make snapshot directory (.snapshot) visible check box is not selected, and then click Configure.
